Summer Wedfest Dubai Themed Wedding Invites – Earlier in the year Rebecca & Sam got in touch with me looking for WEDFEST wedding invites. They wanted to call their wedding SUMMER WEDFEST and as they lived in Dubai wanted to feature some elements of Dubai in the wedding invitation artwork.
Of course there is no end of landmarks in Dubai to choose from but the first two that sprung to mind were the Burj Al Arab Hotel and the Burj Khalifa skyscraper which is the tallest building in the world. So I took these two buildings as a starting point and along with some other Dubai building silhouettes I placed them in the background of the invitation design to try and create the idea that a concert was happening in a park and the Dubai skyline was in the distance, it seemed to work out pretty well and the invitation designs turned out really beautiful when printed.
Like other wedfest ticket wedding invitation designs I made the RSVP as a tear off stub that the guests could quickly and easily tear off, fill in and post back to the couple.
Once it came around to the time of the wedding the couple got in touch again this time looking for a wedding table and seating plan created in the same wedfest-dubai theme. Using much the same elements as before the table plan design can be seen below. This time unlike in the wedding invitation design you can actually see the whole height of the Burj Khalifa skyscraper. They named each of the tables after their favourite bands and I also designed matching table centre cards for each table.
