Spring Themed Wedding Stationery – It feels like summer is just around the corner! It is right? It’s May after all! I am sure I seen some sun somewhere between the rain showers this past few weeks, I am sure it is coming any day now 🙂 Well if it is not summer Spring definitely has sprung, flowers are growing everywhere, trees and grass have shed the winter blues and are a bright shade of green and every where around smiles are growing bigger, clothing is getting lighter and some days it is even getting warmer. Yes spring has come and with that spring and summer wedding season is in full flow. Obviously at Wedfest we are all about the warmer and nicer climate and its fair to say our designs reflect that and we have provided a ton of customers with spring and summer themed wedding stationery this season and here is just one example of our beautiful festival and spring themed wedding stationery.

Last year Bethan & Liam got in touch looking for wedding stationery for their big day on 11th April. The 11th of April it turned out was a very very popular day to get married, most likely because it was the start of spring and just after the Easter holidays. At Wedfest we were flooded with work for the 11th April and it certainly was the busiest day of the year for us so far as regards how many pieces of wedding stationery we created for weddings on one day, still counting yet!

Anyway Bethan & Liam loved the look of all our festival and boho wedding stationery designs and decided that this was right up their street and wanted us to design them some beautiful spring themed wedding stationery. They wanted fields and flowers and a bright and airy looking design and they wanted it all to incorporate their wedding colours which were Silver & Navy Blue.

The first thing we designed and made for the couple was of course the wedding invitations which you can see above and below in the photos. These turned out beautifully and have a real spring boho wedding feel to them. At the top of the invite it states ‘Please join us at the wedding of the future’  and then in a navy banner it reads Mr & Mrs Roberts – O’Sullivan. Below this it reads featuring headline acts – Bethan and Liam with the wedding date below.

At the bottom of the invitation design there is lots of flowers and flowers in watering cans and in welly boots, butterflies and an acoustic guitar sitting amongst the flowers and grass. In the sky there is hot air balloons and birds flying over a beautiful silver and blue sky creating an all round fantastic looking wedding invitation.

For the wedding day itself to bring in more of the festival theme to the wedding we designed and made Bethan & Liam festival style VIP lanyard passes for their wedding guests. The festival wedding lanyards followed on the same design style as the wedding invites and featured on the front a large VIP and an area for each wedding guests name to be written in just like a concert or festival backstage pass would feature.

On the reverse side of the VIP passes was the running order for the day of the wedding with timings of the events of the day such as the ceremony time, what time dinner is at, what time the party starts etc.

Other on the day wedding stationery we made for the couple was of course their wedding seating plan and wedding table centre cards. The design of the table plan again was consistent with the rest of the wedding stationery. The guest tables were named after singles from the couples two favourite bands… The Beatles and Steps! Yes thats right The Beatles and Steps 🙂 Its probably safe to say that this is the first time that The Beatles and Steps have featured on a poster together and thats exactly what we love here at Wedfest, something different and anything but ordinary.

The guest tables therefore featured singles such as The Beatles – All you need is love, A hard days night, back in the USSR and many more classics and hits from Steps such as Tragedy and Deeper shade of blue. The wedding table centre cards then featured these single covers so that guests could work out what table they were sitting at.

This was a beautiful set of wedding stationery to work on and we couldn’t wait to get it on the website for everyone to see and we wish Bethan and Liam all the best for their future together.
