The Stone Roses Themed Wedding Seating Chart
At Wedfest we love all things musical and we love nothing more than designing music themed wedding stationery for all your music fans out there. A lot of our couples are from the 80’s – 90’s which is arguably one of the greatest era’s of music. This era gave us the Manchester Madchester scene and the legendary Hacienda, and of course inspired some iconic bands such as Oasis who of course were inspired by one of the greatest bands of them all – The Stone Roses.
The Stone Roses are one our firm favourites here at Wedfest HQ and we regularly get asked to design wedding stationery in tribute to them. Whether it is something simple like including a lemon somewhere on an invitation design or naming their wedding table after Stone Roses songs or band members. We regularly make reference to the band as they mean so much to so many couples getting married, And this is exactly the case with Sophie and David.
Huge ‘Roses’ fans Sophie and David got in touch with us after seeing some of our other Manchester Music themed wedding stationery and britpop designs and asked us to design them a Stone Roses themed Wedding Table Plan. Of course we told them they came to the right place and we hit play on I Wanna be Adored!

For the seating plan design we instantly knew the background had to feature the iconic Jackson Pollock style paint splashes which is instantly recognisable in John Squires paintings and the Stone Roses album covers, and of course we had to feature the iconic lemon images which are also an instant reference to The Stone Roses.
The couple named their wedding tables after Stone Roses songs such as Ten Story Love Song, I Wanna Be adored, This is the One, Sally Cinnamon and many more…

For the couples wedding centrepieces we made them stone roses themed wedding vinyl records featuring each of the song titles so the wedding guests could easily identify where they were sitting. The design of the vinyl record wedding centrepieces followed on from the design of the table plan and we used the lemon imagery in the background of the design and as you can see these vinyl records looked awesome.
