Pink Sunburst, Vintage Chic Wedding Invites – Thats a bit of a mouthful but thats exactly how to describe these beautiful vintage chic wedding invitations from Wedfest.

The Bride – Louise, had seen an earlier vintage ticket birthday invitation design we had created and wanted to take some elements from it to create her wedding invites for their wedding at Balbegno Castle, Fettercairn, Aberdeenshire. She loved the pink sun rays on the previous design were really powerful in the background but not over taking the front of the design. She wanted us to combine this with a more vintage chic look in the style of our ticket wedding invites which we are famous for.

The design came pretty easy as we have worked on many, many variations of these vintage ticket wedding invitations, so we chose the best parts of each of the previous designs and put them together this new one for Louise & John.

The Invites as mentioned were made in our ticket invitation style so that the wedding guests could easily detach the RSVP / Admission card and send it back to the couple in the pre-addressed RSVP envelopes provided. The RSVP cards also detailed the full list of wedding menu options available to guests and asked them to tick which option they would like and also included an option to request coach seats to and from the wedding.

The thing that excited us more than the design for these invitations was the actual card that we used for printing. Usually we print on a silk or matt card but for these ones we wanted the vintage feel to come right into the wedding guests hands and we printed these on beautiful lightly textured Tintoretto Gesso card which we have started using alot, especially for this style of design and wedding invitation. If you look closely in the photos you can see the texture of the card which not only looks great but has a great feel to it also.

As well as the invitations we also made the couple matching wedding information cards which they sent out along with the invites. These gave further information to guests about the wedding and detailed hotels and B&B’s that the wedding guests could stay at.

On top of this we also made them an after party invitation card which invited the guests to a Hog Roast BBQ the day after the wedding.

We have also made these Sunburst, Vintage Chic Wedding Invites in other colours to such as the mint green colour you can see in the photos below.

We made these for another couple who had seen the design and knew it was also perfect for them but just in their wedding colour which was mint green. Of course we can adapt all of our wedding invitation designs and all our wedding stationery to any colour needed by the Bride and Groom, just let us know.
